Should your static have a resale value we will deduct the transport cost from that value. Then pay you the remainder

*Fuel surcharge all prices include up-to a max of 2 hours travel time for our disposal teams. There is a charge of £45 per hour for travel time over 2 hours.

Hi I am hoping that you can advise me.
We have a static caravan that is 18 years old but actually really good condition. We have decided to move to another site and newer then. The owners of our caravan site have told us we cannot sell the van to remain on site (fair enough) but also cannot sell it to anyone off site. They have also said that they will enforce us to have the caravan scrapped – but that we just pay them in the region of £1200-£1600 for them to do this. And in addition to his we now know of people on site who have paid this fee and the caravan has not even been scrapped! They have left it in place to be used by others or sold it at auction and kept the profit!
I am disgusted by his and am wondering if this is normal practice – or even legal?
Would you know of anybody that may be able to advise?
